Marathon Course Assistance
Water and Gatorade will be available every two miles beginning at mile 3, and there will be a power gel station near 15 miles. Professional medical assistance will be available throughout the entire race, with fully staffed medical area at the finish line. Toilets will be available near the start on Chippewa Street at Pearl Street, at the 10K and 20K marks and at the finish.
The course will officially close at 12 noon. Runners who have not made it to the halfway point in 3 hours will be asked to finish the marathon on the sidewalks. Those remaining on the course after noon will be required to finish on the sidewalks if they wish to complete the distance. No bicycles, baby joggers or roller blades will be allowed on the course.
